NSW is undergoing a radical transformation in how we buy and use energy. This shift presents significant opportunities for households and small businesses to reduce power bills, improve energy efficiency, and contribute to lowering greenhouse gas emissions.
Under the NSW Government’s Consumer Energy Strategy, the Inclusive Energy Outreach Program (formerly called the Community Energy Outreach Program) ensures that communities across the state are aware, engaged, and educated about how they use energy. The program empowers vulnerable cohorts to make informed energy choices using trusted tools and resources—ensuring no one is left behind in the energy transition.
Following the successful delivery of the Community Energy Outreach Grant, which focused on rapidly scaling existing outreach activities, the Inclusive Energy Outreach Grant (the Grant) introduces a broader funding opportunity that is open to all eligible organisations, including those that applied for or received funding from the Community Energy Outreach Grant.
The Grant continues to support the NSW Government’s commitment to a fair and inclusive energy transition, building capacity within the community sector – with a priority on NSW based community organisations - and delivering measurable energy outcomes for vulnerable communities across the state.
