The 2024-25 National Energy Bill Relief program helps NSW small businesses pay their electricity bills. The program is delivered by the NSW Government on behalf of the Australian Government.
NSW small businesses that use less than 100 megawatt hours of electricity per year may be eligible for a National Energy Bill Relief payment of up to $325 in financial year 2024-25. The application process is different depending on whether your small business is a retail (on-market) or an embedded network (on-supply) electricity customer.
This application form is for small businesses that are located in and receive electricity bills from an embedded electricity network (on-supply).
If you are a Retail (on-market) customer and receive your electricity bill from an energy retailer, you will automatically receive the National Energy Bill Relief payment on your electricity bill.
If you have already received the National Energy Bill Relief payment, you do not need to apply using this form. If you’re not sure, contact the electricity retailer on your electricity bill before applying.
